Responding to COVID-19

On Tuesday, March 24, Dr. Gladys Gibbs, Director of the Student Health Center, sent an email to local property owners and leasing agencies reiterating Governor DeWine’s orders asking students to limit social gatherings and to stay at home. In turn, we're asking for your help in reinforcing this message because you are an essential partner in helping off-campus residents understand the health and safety implications of this situation. Below you will find additional resources available to students. If you have any questions, please know that Student Life's Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services department is here to assist during this time.

Make Sure Every Buckeye Counts

Every ten years, the United States holds a census count. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the census will take place as planned on April 1, 2020 and throughout the spring. Participating in the census is required by law, even if you recently completed another survey from the Census Bureau. For more information on how college students will be counted during the 2020 Census, visit the US Census Bureaus’ website or email cssl@osu.edu with questions. Let’s make sure every Buckeye counts!

Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services remains available to assist Ohio State students by phone. However, to ensure the safety of Student Legal Services staff, our staff is working remotely until further notice. Ohio State students can make an appointment at studentlegal.osu.edu.
