Community Roundtable

Student Life’s Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services will host the next Community Roundtable virtually on Thursday, June 11 from 2-3:30 p.m. via Zoom. The purpose of this webinar is to gather registered property owners, vendors and community members to facilitate relevant discussions while offering the opportunity to connect with our community networks.

Topics of discussion will include:

A panel of representatives across the university to discuss Ohio State's response to COVID-19 and to address attendee questions.
A representative from the Office of International Affairs to discuss the experience of international students and how we can all best support this population.

Community Energy Savers Program

The Community Energy Savers Program is designed to empower homeowners, renters and businesses to reduce energy usage in their community. Our neighborhood needs every resident, including renters, to participate in energy efficiency programs provided by AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas between June 1 and September 30, 2020 to earn up to $35,000 in grants. The grant funds will be used for energy efficiency upgrades within the University District.

Property Owner Resource Center

Student Life’s Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services is offering a new resource center for registered property owners and managers. The webpage has a collection of resources for property owners and managers to share with their tenants during move-in, move-out, and throughout the year. Topics include fire safety, life skills education, sustainability, and roommates.

Buckeye Food Alliance

Food insecurity impacts many college students across the country and Buckeye Food Alliance is here to help. Buckeye Food Alliance is an on-campus food pantry, run by students for students. The Buckeye Food Alliance strives to provide access to healthy food and personal care items for students to alleviate food insecurity at Ohio State. This service is open to all Ohio State students.
