Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services provides confidential, legal advice and representation for a wide range of legal issues that Ohio State students typically encounter. Areas of law include off-campus housing, lease reviews, car accidents, employment, document drafting and review, immigration and many other areas. They are also currently advising students on legal questions regarding COVID-19 and the recent protests. If your tenants are Ohio State students with any legal questions, please refer them to Student Legal Services.

Community Energy Savers Program

The Community Energy Savers Program is designed to empower homeowners, renters and businesses to reduce energy usage in their community. By participating in CES, as a University District community member, you not only have the opportunity to save energy and money in your homes and businesses, but you can also help University District receive up to $35,000 in grants from AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas of Ohio. These awards will be used for upgrades within the University District community!

Property Owner Resource Center

Student Life’s Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services is offering a new resource center for registered property owners and managers. The webpage has a collection of helpful information and links for property owners and managers to share with their tenants during Move-In, Move-Out and throughout the year. Topics include fire safety, life skills education, sustainability and roommates.
