Student Org Presidents

Dear Student Organization Leaders:

Please review and considering sharing the information below with your members. Thank you for the many ways you have worked to promote a safe and healthy Ohio State.

Ohio State students have an extraordinarily high rate of vaccination, and many are now eligible for their booster. By getting a booster, you will add another layer of protection from serious illness and may avoid quarantine after a COVID-19 exposure. Under new CDC guidance, students who are asymptomatic and exposed to someone with COVID-19 will not be required to quarantine if they are up to date on their COVID-19 shots, which includes having a booster if they can.

If you are someone who is booster-ready, appointments are available at Jesse Owens North on campus. In addition, Ohio State students can use promo code “STUDENTBOOSTER” for free Lyft rides to booster appointments at Ohio State Outpatient Care Upper Arlington (1800 Zollinger Rd). Schedule your appointment using MyChart.

There are also sites around Ohio. Check your insurance to determine the best site for you. Additional information is available on the Safe and Healthy Buckeyes website.

COVID-19 vaccines have been determined safe, effective and a critical step to minimize disruptions to your semester.

Thanks for doing your part to advance a safe and healthy Ohio State.
